Former NDC MP for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency, Trumah Joseph Bayel, has passed away in Sawla after a short illness.
He first entered Parliament in 1992 and served as the legislator for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency in the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Parliaments on the ticket of the NDC.

He was born on June 20, 1954.
The body of the late MP has been deposited at the Sawla district hospital mortuary ahead of funeral arrangements.
