The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has provided vital educational resources to four Senior High Schools in the constituency to enhance teaching and learning, particularly in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
On Tuesday, Mr Agbana donated 50 laptops to students of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School ahead of their ICT practical examinations.
He explained that the gesture was intended to ensure that students were well-prepared for the upcoming WASSCE.

“This support is to give our students the necessary tools to excel. We want them to approach their ICT practicals with confidence,” he said.
In addition to the laptops, the MP presented 10 desktop computers secured from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) to Weta Senior High School and Wovenu Senior High School to augment their existing facilities.

“We cannot allow the lack of basic resources to hold our young people back in such a critical area as ICT,” he noted.
As part of the intervention, fully-fuelled standby generators were also supplied to all four Senior High Schools in the constituency as a backup measure against power outages.
Mr Agbana stressed that reliable electricity supply was crucial for effective learning.
“We do not want students to be disadvantaged during their studies or examinations due to interruptions in power,” he said.
The Ketu North legislator expressed optimism that the initiative would create a more conducive learning environment and improve performance in the WASSCE.
“We trust that these interventions will help our dear students to achieve excellent results and make the constituency proud,” he added.
