JoySports has extended appreciation to all sponsors, partners, and participating organisations for their role in the successful staging of the 2025 JoySports Invitational Tournament, held on Saturday, August 23, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The event, which has become Ghana’s premier corporate sporting competition, brought together 51 companies competing across 15 disciplines. It was marked by exciting contests, vibrant brand activations, and strong displays of teamwork and camaraderie.
The tournament had sponsorship support from Minerals Commision, Royal Sweet Limited, Ayuda Hub, Yomi Yoghurt, The Game Energy Drink, The Luckiest *712#, Promoworld, and Nexus Global Services LTD.
Fiifi Koomson, General Manager of Joy Brands, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
“This tournament has grown into Ghana’s premier corporate sporting event because of the faith our sponsors, partners, and companies continue to place in us. The 2025 edition was more than a competition — it was a celebration of resilience, teamwork, and community. For that, we say a heartfelt thank you.”
David Max Fugar, Head of Sales and Customer Service at The Multimedia Group, noted the importance of collaboration.
“Every medal, every cheer, every smile in the stands was made possible by the collective effort of our sponsors and participants. You turned the tournament into a festival of joy, and we are truly proud of the partnerships that made this success possible.”
Fentuo Tahiru, Editor of JoySports, emphasised the significance of the tournament for corporate Ghana.
“The Invitational has become a powerful platform where businesses, staff, and leaders come together to compete, connect, and inspire. The performances this year showed not only athletic excellence but also the values that drive corporate Ghana forward — discipline, passion, and teamwork.”
JoySports also congratulated all winners, including Piwak Natural Health, overall champions with four gold medals; GOIL PLC, winners of the football competition; NPA, champions in swimming, Tug of Peace and chess; and The Luckiest *712#, who claimed three gold and two silver medals in their debut appearance.
ARB Apex Bank, McDan Group, Yak Décor, Ashfoam, Consolidated Shipping Agencies LTD, Axis Pension, Nkulenu Industries, Youth Employment Agency, ECG, Labadi Beach Hotel and the numerous others who showed up in their numbers.
As preparations begin for the 2026 edition, JoySports reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the tournament and creating an even greater experience. The brand says it looks forward to welcoming back this year’s champions and all other participating companies to continue the tradition of excellence, competition, and camaraderie.
