Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito is eyeing victory against “one of the best” sides in the Ghana Premier League, Heart of Lions, when the two meet on Sunday.
The Porcupines will host the Kpando-based club in a matchday 4 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Lions have won all their league matches so far this season and sit at the top of the table with nine points.
“We are coming to meet a club with the key factor of consistency,” Zito told Kotoko’s media.
“In terms of consistency, they are one of the best in the league.
“But we’ve set our target to win the league, and they are part of those we are going to meet, so at all costs we should do our best to win this game.”
Kotoko began their season with a win over Berekum Chelsea on matchday 1 but have not played since, owing to their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.
