Businessman and New Patriotic Party's (NPP) former Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has reiterated his commitment to tackling unemployment in the country should he become President.
According to the NPP flagbearer hopeful, creating sustainable job opportunities for certificate and non-certificate holders will be his priority, should he lead the NPP and eventually the nation.
In a Facebook post on Monday, October 13, Mr Agyapong highlighted his track record in entrepreneurship, asserting that his achievements in job creation through private enterprise demonstrate his capability to replicate such success at the national level.
"I’ve created thousands of jobs through my own hard work and resources. With your support , I’ll create even more job opportunities for both certificate and non-certificate holders. I’ve done it before. I’ll do it bigger for Ghana," he posted.
Mr Agyapong is among five contenders vying for the flagbearership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
During last week’s balloting exercise, he picked the number one slot, making him the first candidate on the electoral ballot.
The NPP’s presidential primary is scheduled to take place on 31st January 2026.
