Bibiani GoldStars interim coach Nana Yaw Amankwah says his side are gradually getting back to their old selves in recent games, having picked up a point away to Hearts of Oak in week seven of the Ghana Premier League.
The defending champions pegged the Phobians back before taking the lead through a double from forward Samuel Attah Kumi.
However, Hearts equalised through George Paaku’s header as both sides shared the spoils.
"Our boys are now picking [up] very well," Amankwah said.
"We changed the strategy and we can break them [on the counter attack].
"We know they [Hearts of Oak] are weak [in defending counter-attacks] and we just took our opportunities from there."
GoldStars, who had exited the CAF Champions League preliminary round after 7-0 aggregate defeat To JS Kabylie, now sit fourth on the league log with 13 points.
They face Young Apostles in their next encounter on November 2.
