David Moyes believes Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has been Tottenham Hotspur’s standout signing of the summer, praising the 25-year-old’s growing influence under Thomas Frank.
The Everton manager, who signed Kudus during his time at West Ham, said he always expected the forward to thrive in the Premier League.
Kudus, who joined Spurs for £55 million in the summer, has quickly established himself as one of the league’s most effective creators, leading the assist charts alongside Jack Grealish with four.
“He’s a brilliant player,” Moyes said before Everton’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday. “He has so many attributes to his game. He is a great boy to work with. I hugely enjoyed managing him.”
Moyes highlighted Kudus’s strength and versatility as key to his success.
“He has great balance, can’t be knocked off the ball, and can play inside or outside,” the Scotsman noted. “He can play several positions if you want him.”
Kudus scored 18 goals in his first season at West Ham and continued his fine form before earning his North London move.
“He’s just finding his form at Tottenham,” Moyes added. “From a distance, he looks like their best buy of the summer.”
