Your Super Station, Joy 99.7FM, is preparing a festive lineup of three flagship events to thrill listeners and patrons over the holiday period.
First up is the annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. This year, it will take place at the Labadi Beach Hotel on 13th December 2025 and promises a fresh experience drawn from its prior editions. The programme will include music, drama, comedy and scripture readings.
It will feature performances by Joe Mettle, Queendalyn, Ofori Amponsah, Lekzy Decomic, the Grace Chorale and Jeneral Ntatia.
Next, on 26th December, families will gather at the Aburi Botanical Gardens for the annual Family Party in the Park. This event has become a holiday staple for Joy 99.7FM and in previous years has featured high-profile acts such as Kwabena Kwabena, Camidoh, Kuami Eugene and the Kwan Pa band. This year’s line-up includes DopeNation, Kwan Pa band and Kwabena Kwabena. The day will also bring family and children’s games such as face-painting, musical chairs, spoon and sack races, among others.
Finally, the ever-popular 90s Jam returns on 2nd January 2025. In its previous edition, the 90s Jam at Pleasant Gardens (Dzorwulu, Accra) took place on 3rd January 2025 and transported music lovers back to the 1990s with Ghanaian highlife, hiplife and US hip-hop tracks. This year’s revival promises to build on that momentum.
All these Joy FM events will be held in collaboration with the other Joy Brands: Joy Prime, Joy News and Hitz FM.
