Applicants seeking to join the country's security services (Police, Prisons, Immigration and Fire service) in the ongoing 2025/26 recruitment must upload a biometric birth certificate, their Ghana Card, and academic certificates directly to the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP), the organisers have announced.
The notice, which details the core requirements for application, mandates a strict list of documents to be provided by all prospective candidates for the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Prisons Service.

The notice explicitly states that "all applicants are expected to provide basic biographic (bio), geographic (geo) and academic information as part of the application process."
The required documents to be uploaded include a passport picture on a red or white background, a biometric birth certificate, a JHS certificate, and an SSCE/WASSCE or equivalent certificate.
For higher qualifications, tertiary and professional certificates are also required.
The notice also provides clarity on a common issue faced by applicants, stating that the portal will accept "affidavits in support of Change of Name [or] Maiden Name but not affidavits for a change in Age."
This rule aims to curb the recurring problem of age falsification in public service recruitment.
Furthermore, applicants must provide their Ghana Card number, Ghana Post GPS address, and an active phone number and email address for verification and communication.
This rigorous digital application process is part of the government's broader C-SERP initiative to centralise and sanitise recruitment into internal security agencies.
The system is designed to promote transparency and eliminate the influence of middlemen who often prey on desperate job seekers.
The portal opens for applications at 12 noon today, Monday, November 17, 2025, and will close on Friday, December 19, 2025.
All interested and qualified Ghanaians are advised to gather the necessary documents and ensure they meet the technical specifications, including a file size of 1.5 MB per upload in PNG or JPG formats, before starting their application on https://cserpgh.com.
