Ghana will field a four-member swimming team at the 4th African Youth Games, scheduled for December 10–20, 2025, in Angola.
The continental event will take place across six host cities - Luanda, Benguela, Lubango, Huambo, Moçâmedes, and Caxito - with the swimming competition running from December 11–16.
Team Ghana will be led by coach Jonathan Amoako-Atta, with two boys and two girls representing the nation.
In the girls’ category, Oduma Agyei will compete in the 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly, and 100m freestyle.
Mercedes Abdallah also has a full schedule, featuring in the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 200m individual medley.
For the boys, Tamba Akin Boamah will swim in seven events, 100m breaststroke, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 200m breaststroke, 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, and 200m IM.
Kelvin Abdallah will also compete in the 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle, and 100m butterfly.
The 4th African Youth Games will bring together athletes aged 14–17 from across the continent, competing in 33 disciplines.
