Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon, has celebrated 47 outstanding students who collectively secured 47 grade 8A results in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The students were formally recognised at the school’s 87th Speech and Prize-Giving Day, held on Saturday, 29th November.

The occasion highlighted the institution’s enduring culture of academic distinction.

In a gesture underscoring his commitment to nurturing scholarly excellence, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and prominent alumnus, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, presented each awardee with a brand-new laptop.
He noted that the donation was intended to spur the students on to even greater academic heights.

Beyond the laptops, the honourees received certificates acknowledging their stellar performance and their contribution to PRESEC’s continued academic prestige.
This year’s ceremony was spearheaded by the PRESEC 2000 Year Group (Y2K), who showcased their legacy project, a comprehensive refurbishment of the school’s dining hall, reaffirming their dedication to enhancing the learning environment for future generations.
