The Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced a series of major government engagements scheduled for today and Tuesday, December 23, including the disclosure of details surrounding a high-profile corruption investigation.
In a Facebook post shared on Monday, December 22, Mr Kwakye Ofosu outlined two key events, which he said underscore the government’s focus on accountability and strategic national planning.
According to him, at 11:00 a.m. today, the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice will return to the Government Accountability Series to unveil details of an investigation into a major corruption case involving a politically exposed person.
“At 11 am this morning, the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice returns to the Government Accountability Series to unveil details of an investigation into a high-profile corruption case involving a politically exposed person,” he wrote.
The disclosure is expected to generate significant public interest, given the prominence of the individual involved.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu further announced that on Tuesday, December 23, the National Airline Task Force will present its report to the President.
“Tomorrow, the National Airline Task Force will present their report to the President,” he added.
The presentations form part of ongoing efforts by the government to demonstrate transparency, strengthen public accountability, and advance key policy initiatives.
