According to a post shared on Facebook by the police, the arrests, which took place in several towns and villages, were part of the police's Christmas Special Operations, aimed at ensuring security and maintaining law and order during the holiday period.

The operations, which were conducted over the course of the past week, targeted key areas including Sefwi-Bodi, Asawinsos, Dadieso, Juaboso, Akontombra, Sefwi Debiso, Enchi, Sefwi Bekwai, Donyina, and Bidiem.

These towns in the Western North Region have seen increased police presence as part of efforts to clamp down on various criminal activities, particularly during the busy Christmas season when lawlessness can sometimes spike.
