A major fire outbreak has been reported at a warehouse located at Ashaiman, Gulf City, prompting a swift emergency response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
According to fire officials, three fire tenders from the Tema Motorway, Tema Metropolitan and Tema Industrial Fire Stations were immediately dispatched to the scene after the alert was received.
Firefighters arrived promptly and engaged the blaze, which had already engulfed sections of the warehouse.

Emergency crews have since succeeded in confining the fire to the affected warehouse, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings and other commercial structures within the enclave.
Firefighters remain on the ground, worked to fully extinguish the flames and carry out cooling-down operations to avert any possible re-ignition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no casualties have been reported as of the time of filing this report.
However, the extent of damage to goods stored in the warehouse is still being assessed.

Authorities say investigations will be conducted once the fire is completely put out, while further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
