Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe have announced the signing of Ghana midfielder Musah Mohammed during the ongoing winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old has joined from second-tier side Bodrum on a three-and-a-half-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year.
Goztepe confirmed the deal on Wednesday, bringing an end to Mohammed’s three-and-a-half-year association with Bodrum.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Musah Mohammed, born in 2002, on a three-and-a-half-year contract with a one-year club option,” the club said on social media.
“Welcome to the family, Musah Mohammed. We wish you great success and unforgettable moments with our glorious club.”
The Nkawkaw native joined Bodrum in 2022 from Ankaraspor and helped the club gain promotion to the Turkish top flight, but they were relegated last season.
Goztepe’s interest dates back to the summer, but a deal could not be reached at the time as Bodrum were reluctant to lose one of their most influential players.
In his debut Super Lig campaign during the 2024/25 season, Mohammed featured in 25 matches and provided four assists.
This season, he has played 21 games across all competitions for Bodrum, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
