The National Sports Authority has assured the readiness of the Baba Yara Stadium for Ghana's opener against Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Ghana Football Association announced the stadium as the venue for the upcoming clash slated for September 5.
However, there are concerns about its current state following the recent hosting of a five-day 'Kumuyi' Church program.
The social event rendered the pitch unfit to host matches.
"At the end of the day, we will come back to say that yes, prudently, we have managed the little resources from the Kumuyi program," NSA's Ashanti Regional Director Kwame Baa told Luv FM Sports.
"We have been able to cater for our water bills, electricity and all manner of people working day in day out to ensure your dear Baba Yara Stadium is at a point where we can all be very proud of."
The Baba Yara Stadium is expected to serve as the home ground of Asante Kotoko in next season's Ghana Premier League.
