Ghana's leading goal scorer, Asamoah Gyan trained with his new club Legon Cities in the early hours of Tuesday, November 3 at Pantang.
Gyan, whose deal was announced on Transfer Deadline Day joined the Royals as a free agent with the former Ghana captain set to earn more than $1 million.
Legon Cities struggled for goals last season, scoring just 12 goals in 15 games making them the fourth lowest scorers in the truncated league.
Head coach of the Ghana Premier League side, Goran Barjaktarevic will be relying on the 34-year-old for goals this season.
The former Sunderland striker last played in the local league with Liberty Professionals 17 years ago when he scored 10 goals in 16 games.
The Royals will be hoping for similar figures as they make a push for top six finish this season.
Legon Cities and Gyan host Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday one of the new Ghana Premier League season.
