The Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II was the special guest that joined the Awuah-Darko family to celebrate the Paramount chief of Juaben traditional area, Nana Otuo Siriboe the Second.
The celebration was part of activities to climax the 50th anniversary of the Juabenhene who is also the Chairman of the Council of State.
The gesture by the Asantehene, according to Nkosuohene of the Juaben stool, Nana Awuah-Darko Ampem II, was critical to deepen long-standing relationship with the King.
In 1985, the Asantehene first made room for the enstoolment of Nkosuohene in Asanteman.
Following the Asantehene's lead, the Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe selected Nana Awuah Darko Ampem to become the Nkosuohene of Asante Juaben.
