Ghanaian sprint star Benjamin Azamati has announced a new partnership with Swiss sportswear brand On, marking a significant milestone in his professional career.
The former national 100m record holder shared the news on his Instagram page, posting photos of himself in On apparel with the caption: “New Chapter with @on. Never Question Greatness!”
The deal makes Azamati one of the latest elite athletes to join the fast-growing global brand, which has been expanding its presence in track and field.
Azamati, whose national record of 9.90 seconds was broken in May 2025 by Abdul Rasheed Saminu, has been one of Africa’s most consistent sprinters in recent years, representing the country at major international competitions including the Olympic Games and World Championships.
The partnership is expected to provide the 26-year-old with enhanced support as he continues his preparations for upcoming global events and aims to cement his status among the world’s top sprinters.
