Campaign aide to NPP Running Mate, Dr Henry Kwabena Kokofu says Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is the ideal partner for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking at a mini-rally at Fanteakwa North constituency, he praised the former Energy Minister affectionately called Napo, saying the pair is the perfect match for Ghana.
“NAPO is a kind and sympathetic man and so because of his nature, he could not see widows and single mothers go through the hustle of looking out for their wards and so all he had to do was to work hard to ensure that this life-changing policy came into pass,” he said.
He added he was least surprised when Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was given the role of Minister for Education and charged to ensure the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy initiated by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.
Dr. Kokofu who is a former Member of Parliament for Bantama and Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency, has been touring the Eastern Region with the NPP Running Mate canvassing Ghanaians to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7.
NAPO, taking his turn to speak, touted the NPP’s impressive track record in education, energy, health and other sectors of the economy, hence appealing to Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr Bawumia.
