Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has emerged as the resounding winner in the NPP-USA presidential primaries, securing 208 out of the total 270 votes cast, representing an impressive 77.04%.
His closest rival, Ken Ohene Agypaong, secured 60 votes, equivalent to 22.22%.

Dr. Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai-Nimoh received one vote each.
These results were disclosed in a press statement released by NPP-USA after the elections held on Wednesday, November 1.
The statement read, "NPP-USA, in line with our established tradition, conducted and concluded our internal poll for the NPP Presidential Primary Election of 2023."
"We are announcing the results of this internal democratic exercise, in which 270 out of 411 eligible members actively participated.
"Dr Mahamudu Bawumia secured a commanding 77.04% with 208 votes. Ken Ohene Agyapong received 22.22% with 60 votes, while Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai-Nimoh each received 1 vote, representing 0.37% each."
