The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif says even though he is not happy with his songs being leaked before the official release, his fans should not hesitate to enjoy it.
In a report by The Culture Joint, it stated that Black Sherif chastised those behind the leakage of his songs and called them ‘Babylons”. He also accused them of working to derail his music progress.
The Kwaku The Traveller hitmaker is reported to have made the comments just before his performance at the University of Ghana yesterday, July 22.
“Some songs I recorded three years ago, two and a half years ago, some Babylons have got it and are blasting… So if you hear them somewhere, enjoy it. But if you don’t see me tweet, I never released it,” he said.
The “Oh Paradise” singer disclosed that he will be releasing more songs in the coming weeks for the enjoyment of the audience.

He also performed "Bad Bitches”, one of the leaked songs to the delight of the patrons who cheered him.
The last few days have not been too good for Black Sherif when news of his alleged arrest at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) went viral on social media.
A police source confirmed to Graphic Online that he was stopped on the night of Wednesday, July 19, following a complaint of fraud against him by Cruise People Limited (Your Cruise People).
Black Sherrif was stopped at the Kotoka International Airport when he arrived in Accra and was sent to the police headquarters, the source said.
He was expected to perform on a cruise starting August 19, 2023, and has reportedly been paid half of the fees but has not been available for "promo" for the show.
The show has subsequently been cancelled by the organisers.
