Morocco's national football team is currently at Rabat Airport awaiting authorisation from Algeria to travel to that country to participate in African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The FIFA and Confederation of African Football (CAF) presidents were at the Rabat Airport to ensure things go smoothly.
Earlier, there were reports of Morocco's withdrawal from the tournament but this has been discounted.
Morocco, the reigning champion of the CHAN tournament is determined to participate and defend its title.

The team was at Rabat-Sale airport awaiting authorisation from Algeria to fly directly to Constantine.
There is political tension between Algeria and Morocco but FIFA rules do not mix politics with football.
