The Premier League fixture list for the upcoming 2023/24 season has been announced.
League champions and treble winners, Manchester City, will commence their title defence against Burnley. It will be an early visit by familiar faces for Vincent Kompany - the former City captain, who is now Burnley boss.
Burnley v Manchester City, on Friday August 11, will be the opening game of the season.
The biggest game of opening weekend will happen two days later at Stamford Bridge, when Chelsea host Liverpool, welcoming Mauricio Pochettino back to the Premier League.
New Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou starts his reign away at Brentford - Harry Kane's future will have been certified then.
Newcastle, before their first Champions League fixture in 20 years at the St. James Park, play Aston Villa, before facing Man City (a), Liverpool (h), Brighton (a) and Brentford (h)
Manchester United finished third in Erik ten Hag’s first year at the club and will aim to finish higher. They will begin their campaign at home to Wolves.
The season's first Manchester derby will be played on October 28 at Old Trafford. The Etihad will welcome their city rivals on March 2, after equaling their treble feat. Pep Guardiola's side travel to Anfield the following weekend on March 9.
After an unexpected title challenge last campaign, Arsenal host Nottingham Forest in their first home game of the season, before playing Palace (a), Fulham (h) and Manchester United (h).
Tottenham have a difficult spell of fixtures during the season's run-in with consecutive games against Newcastle, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool in April and May.
