For the first time in eight weeks, a contestant on Joy Prime's Cues and Lyrics Reality Show, TM Musiq, was honoured with a standing ovation from all three judges amidst applause for putting up a stunning performance.
TM Musiq’s incredible stagecraft and voice, coupled with his impeccable skill on the guitar, led him to his second victory as the much-coveted ‘judges favourite" and ‘star performer of the week.
The sensational young talent, known in real life as Theophilus Mbeah performed ‘Can’t Stop Loving You" by Frank Edwards on last Sunday’s edition of Cues and Lyrics, much to the delight of all three judges.
Third-time guest judge Andy Dosty expressed his contentment with the performance. "Chale, you get all of this; what were you waiting for, man? That was incredible, and thank you very much for this", he said to TM Musiq, who was beaming with smiles.
An obviously fulfilled TM Musiq has exhibited growth since joining Cues and Lyrics, which started in April this year. The performance that won him his second ‘Star Performer of the Week" award is significant, considering his dip in performance in the programme’s 7th week.
The night’s challenge also had amazing performances by other contestants, including Tricia Williamz, Kwabena Mophasa, Kobby Shawn, Lovet, Limuel, and Traygan.
Continue voting for your favourite and join the show every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on the Joy Prime channel.
Cues and Lyrics is proudly sponsored by Syntex Tank and the Ghana AIDS Commission.
It is powered by Hitz 103.9 FM.
