The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu North, Edem Agbana has distributed mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the constituency.
According to him, this is to help the students in their examinations.
Mr. Agbana has also promised a scholarship package for students who will score between aggregate six and nine.
“So we want you to pass. Your teachers have done their part. Your parents have done their part. We are also here to do our part by encouraging you but you have to do your best to pass.”
“We also want to announce to you that whoever gets between aggregate six and nine, we have a special scholarship package for you,” he said.
Day one of the distribution took him and his team to 28 public and private basic schools in four circuits within the Ketu North municipality.
At the end of the exercise, he thanked all the stakeholders for their support.
“We are grateful to the management, staff and students of the schools for their warm reception and willingness to support this cause,” he added.
