The Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa is on a very swift journey to become the most prestigious awards scheme on the continent.
The scheme has, over the years, wowed many individuals with a touch of class in the entire organisation of the event.
The EMY Africa Awards are an annual event that celebrates the achievements of men and women who have made significant contributions to society in various fields, including business, entertainment, and sports.
Founder and Executive Director of EMY Africa, Kojo Soboh, has revealed that the plan is to make the event the topmost awards event every individual across the world would yearn to experience.
He made these comments on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz with Amelley Djosu.
“Our goal is to become the most prestigious award in Africa, where everybody in Africa will want to fly in and be part of the experience. We have a lot of offshoots of the awards coming up. Thankfully, we’ve been able to do the soirees. The soirees are going to be like road events, preludes to the main event. Nigeria is constant now because we have so much love from Lagos, and we want to keep it there,” he indicated.
Mr. Soboh further added that there will be a series of events that will serve as precursors to the main awards.
He mentioned soirees, which have already started in Nigeria and will be extended to other countries such as Kenya, South Africa, and Rwanda.
There will also be End of Year Men Party added to the series of events.
The EMY Africa Awards are only in their eighth year, and they have already become the reference scheme. The team has been able to leave a lasting impression on the minds of many by dint of hard work and the worthy associations formed over the years. In simple words, the EMY Africa team "understands the brand."
It is the hope of the organisers to take the standards a notch higher each and every year.
