The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has held a high-level engagement with the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) to review its performance for 2025 and align strategic priorities for the year ahead.
In a post shared on his social media platforms on Friday, January 23, Dr Jinapor said the meeting formed part of his ministry’s broader strategic plan to strengthen delivery across Ghana’s energy sector and ensure that key institutions remain focused on results.
According to him, the engagement provided an opportunity to assess PHDC’s execution over the past year and identify new opportunities to enhance the Corporation’s impact.
“The session focused on strengthening execution, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning the Corporation to deliver greater value across the energy value chain,” he stated.
Dr Jinapor underscored the central role of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation in Ghana’s long-term energy ambitions, describing it as a critical driver of investment and infrastructure development.

“The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation remains central to our investment drive in the energy sector, serving as a critical catalyst for infrastructure development, private sector participation, and long-term energy security,” he noted.
Looking ahead, the Energy and Green Transition Minister said government’s priority is to build strong investor confidence and fast-track projects capable of transforming the country’s energy landscape.

“As we look ahead, our focus is on deepening investor confidence and accelerating projects that will transform our energy landscape, create jobs and support sustainable economic growth,” Dr Jinapor added.
