Sports and Recreation Ministry has not made plans in the budget for Ghana’s supporters and the media ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers, says Kofi Adams.
The Black Stars have travelled to N’Djamena to face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on September 4, before returning home to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
Adams, who had addressed the press and revealed that his administration reviewed estimated budgets and removed certain items from the list, said that the $1.3m budgeted for the two imminent encounters has “not even a pesewa” allocated for supporters.
"We don't have budget for supporters,” he told Sporty FM.
“Anyone who comes thinking there is a budget [for fans], not a pesewa is in the budget for supporters. No provision for supporters and no provision for the media.”
Meanwhile, Otto Addo and his charges are expected to hold a final training on Wednesday.
The Black Stars, four-time World Cup participants lead Group I with 15 points, three points more than Comoros who will play Mali on Match day 7.
