John Mahama's son Shafik with his wife Asma

Shafik Mahama, son of former president John Dramani Mahama, has tied the knot with his Algerian girlfriend only known as Asma.
The two were reported to have gotten married in a private ceremony in Dubai on Thursday, July 16.

Taking to Instagram, the NDC Flagbearer shared a photo of the couple on their wedding day with the caption “Congrats Shafik and Asma. God richly bless your union.”
