Basake Holy Stars continued their formidable home run with a narrow but crucial 1-0 victory over Young Apostles at the AAK II Sports Arena.
Francis Oteng Gyatuah’s early strike in the 19th minute proved decisive, sealing a ninth consecutive home win for the hosts, who once again showcased discipline and composure to protect their lead in a tightly contested encounter.
The result lifts Holy Stars to eighth place with 36 points, strengthening their upward push on the league table as their home ground remains a fortress.
