Hearts of Oak have dismissed reports claiming they gave their head coach Aboubakar Ouattara a five-game ultimatum to turn the team’s fortunes around.
The Phobians have had a disappointing start to the season, suffering a 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their Ghana Premier League opener.
In a statement, the club described the reports as “entirely false and fabricated, and should be disregarded.”
They are however, encouraging fans to keep the faith in the Ivorian.

After superintending over the club’s fourth home defeat since taking charge, Ouattara refused to attend the mandatory post-match conference.
His assistant, Yaw Amankwaah, informed journalists in the press room that Ouattara had opted to preside over a post-match meeting with his players.
Ouattara has lost more games (8) that he's won (7) since his appointed in February, 2024.
Hearts travel to Kpando for a clash with Heart of Lions in their second fixture of the Premier League
