Joyce Bawah Mogtari has expressed her heartfelt appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing her as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide.
The former Deputy Transport Minister in a post shared on her X account shortly after the announcement on Tuesday, 21 January, wrote, “God has spoken, and I know that God has confirmed and established JB, the people’s leader! I am grateful to each one of you and to President JD Mahama!”
Her message reflected gratitude and a deep sense of duty as she prepares to take on her new role.

Other key appointments announced by the President include Stanislav Xoese Dogbe and Nana Oye Bampoe Addo as Deputy Chiefs of Staff, with Mr Dogbe overseeing operations and Mrs Bampoe Addo managing administrative functions.
Their extensive experience is expected to bolster efficiency within the President’s office.
President Mahama has also entrusted Seth Emmanuel Terkper with the role of Presidential Adviser on the Economy, reaffirming his administration’s focus on economic stability and growth.
Meanwhile, Professor Francis Dodoo has been named Presidential Adviser on the National Anti-Corruption Programme, a move aimed at intensifying efforts to combat corruption.
Further strengthening Ghana’s diplomatic influence, Larry Gbevlo-Lartey has been appointed as Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States, underscoring the administration’s commitment to regional collaboration and security.
