The Minerals Commission of Ghana will look to take home trophies after registering for the 2024 JoySports Invitational tournament.
The competition, which is Ghana’s biggest corporate sports event, will come off on Saturday, October 26, at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
Minerals Commission, who look to foster efficient and effective regulation and management of the utilization of Ghana’s mineral resources through the development of solid knowledge, becomes the latest organisation to sign up for the tournament.
The event makes a return after a four-year hiatus.
Minerals Commission are expected to compete in various sporting disciplines, including men's football, the CEOs’ penalty shootout, ladies' penalty shootout, women's 50m dash, men's 100m, tug of war, sack race, swimming, 5km race walk, and table tennis.
They will face off against competitors such as IS Evolution Consult, Labadi Beach Hotel, Piwak Natural Health, Nationwide Technologies, Axis Pension Trust, Sapholda Ventures, Peeva Beverages, and others, all looking to emerge as champions.
The edition promises to be bigger and better than ever.
