Nana Adjei Adinkra II of the Mo Traditional area has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to support the Municipality's call for the upgrading of the Circuit Court to a High Court status.
Speaking on behalf of the Traditional Authorities, Nana Adjei Adinkra II said, "we call on you Mr. President to upgrade this Circuit Court to a High Court status instead of spending huge sums of money in putting up same structure elsewhere."
Nana Adjei Adinkra made the appeal when President Akufo-Addo inaugurated a fully furnished dual Court complex in the Kintampo North Municipality as part of his two-day working visit to the Bono East Region
The Court Complex, which was constructed at a cost of GH¢865,527.01 was awarded on April 19, 2019 and completed in November last year.
The Chief noted that, "this court complex would help improve the Judicial system of the area as well as contribute towards reducing crime in the community."

The dual complex, which would house the Municipal Court and an additional Court to be determined by the Chief Justice, forms part of measures put in place by Government to ensure ease of access to the law courts.

The President expressed hope that the building, would be maintained to serve and promote justice and fairness and sustain peace in the area and the region at large.
President, Akufo-Addo indicated that the New Patriotic Party is committed to providing the people with the needed support and called on Nananom to be part of this process.
