President John Mahama has issued a directive to newly appointed deputy ministers regarding official travel.
Speaking during their swearing-in ceremony of deputy ministers at the Jubilee House, President Mahama informed the ministers that all international travel must adhere to specific procedures.
"We must ensure that any travel outside Ghana must pass through the essential travel test and receive approval from the Office of the Chief of Staff," he said on March 12.
The directive aims to ensure that all official travel is carefully considered and aligns with government protocols.
