President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his unwavering commitment to building a Ghana rooted in justice, equality, and institutional integrity, where the rule of law applies to all citizens without exception.
Speaking at the Muslim session of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving in Accra held shortly after the Christian community’s observance, Mr Mahama assured the congregation that under his leadership, no one would be placed above the law.
“I remain committed to building a Ghana where no one is above the law. Institutions must function with integrity, and justice is not reserved only for the powerful people,” he stated.
The President also pledged to ensure fairness in the distribution of the nation’s resources, emphasising that public wealth must serve the collective good.
“Public resources benefit all of us and not a few people,” he said, underlining his vision for inclusive growth and social equity.
The National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving united people of faith from various religious backgrounds to reflect on Ghana’s progress and seek divine guidance for its future.
Mr Mahama’s remarks, delivered during the Muslim prayer segment, focused on the values of accountability, fairness, and inclusive governance as the foundation for national prosperity.
