A 40-year-old carpenter, Francis Brown has allegedly been stabbed to death by his cousin at Buem Bodada of Jasikan District in the Oti Region.
The suspect, Isaac Kojo Boampong, popurlaly known as Komfo Anokye is said to have engaged in a heated argument with the deceased on Monday evening.
According to reports, Isaac had threatened to kill Francis during the argument but a neighbours intervened and stop the incident.
But in the early hours of Tuesday, residents of Buem Bodada found Francis in a pool of blood in a seat in front of his house with multiple machete of wounds on his legs and a knife stabbed at his stomach.
It is suspected that he was attacked on his bed but managed to get out to seek help before he unfortunately gave up his ghost.
The 40-year-old is survived by five children with no wife.
Meanwhile, the suspect, Isaac Boapomg is still at large.
The Jasikan Police Command says it has started investigation to that effect.
