A middle-aged woman has died in a motor accident involving a 65-seater Neoplan bus at Abukari Kura, a suburb of Busunu in the West Gonja district of Savannah Region.
Chief Inspector A. Oppong of the Busunu Divisional Police said the bus burst one of the front tyres forcing it off the road into the bush resulting in the death of the passenger.

The police inspector said eyewitnesses who rushed to the scene, forcefully took the corpse away to Daboya for burial since the deceased was a Muslim.

The rest of the passengers including the driver who sustained various degrees of injuries have been admitted at Damongo Hospital for medical attention.
