NDC holds virtual symposium in honour of Rawlings today

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will on Monday, hold a special virtual symposium to celebrate the life and legacy of the party’s founder Jerry John Rawlings.

The symposium will come off at 6.30 pm at the Kama Conference Center at Labone in Accra.

Prior to the symposium, the leadership of the party will at 9 am file past the mortal remains of J.J. Rawlings scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Executives of the NDC together with former President John Mahama yesterday participated in requiem mass organised by the Catholic Church at the Holy Spirit Cathedral Church and a vigil by the Ghana Air Force at the Air Force Officers Mess.

The late statesman passed away on Thursday, November 12 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
