The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of resorting to propaganda and inciting chaos in the ongoing elections.
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, December 7, Mr Gyamfi alleged that the NPP has become desperate as they anticipate defeat and are resorting to questionable tactics to disrupt the process.
According to Mr Gyamfi, the NPP is disseminating false information to mislead the electorate and tarnish the image of the NDC.
He described the alleged actions as a desperate attempt to sway public perception and undermine the credibility of the election.
"The NPP knows they are losing this election, and out of desperation, they have decided to resort to lies, propaganda, and inciting their hooligans to cause mayhem," Sammy Gyamfi remarked during the press briefing.
He further emphasised the importance of vigilance and urged Ghanaians not to be swayed by the alleged falsehoods being circulated by the NPP.
Mr Gyamfi called on the Ghanaian people to remain calm and focused, stating that the NDC remains committed to ensuring a peaceful, credible, and fair electoral process.
"We urge all Ghanaians to ignore the lies of the NPP and continue to exercise their civic duty by voting peacefully," he added.
