Some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Volta Region have taken to the streets to register their displeasure with the President’s reappointment of Dr Archibald Yao Letsa as Regional Minister.
Clad in red and black, the supporters on Monday morning had inscriptions on placards reading “Where are the Masloc tricycles Dr Letsa?, 'Say no to Letsanomics!', 'How many 2020 campaign platforms did you mount, Lazy Letsa?” among others.
According to Joy News' Fred Quame Asare, the demonstration started from the Metro Mass Yard (Sokode Lokoe) through to the Police Regional Headquarters, then to the Civic Centre.
They stopped at the Regional Party office to submit their petition.
