Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of former President John Mahama and a prominent figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to kick off the second phase of her campaign tour in the Western Region today.
This initiative is part of the party's strategy to solidify its support base ahead of the upcoming elections.
During this phase, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang aims to engage with constituents, listen to their concerns, and articulate the NDC’s vision for the future of Ghana.

In the first phase of her tour, Opoku-Agyemang visited several communities, where she emphasised the need for unity and collaboration among party members.
She highlighted the importance of grassroots involvement in the electoral process, encouraging supporters to actively participate in the campaign and mobilize their communities.
During the second phase, Opoku-Agyemang plans to visit key districts within the Western Region, hosting town hall meetings and rallies to discuss pressing issues affecting the area, such as education, health care, and economic development.
She intends to focus on the NDC's commitment to creating job opportunities and improving living standards, addressing the challenges faced by the people in the region.
