Parts of Accra experienced a moderate tremor.
The phenomenon occurred on Sunday, November 12, around 7:18 am
Residents in areas like Gbawe, Nsakina, Obeyeyie, Kasoa, Sowutuom, Sarpeiman, Ngleshie Amanfro, and La shared their experiences on social media.
The Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GSSA) indicated the event had a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale.
"The epicenter of the event is about 7 kilometers off Weija (5.5318 N, 0.2933 W) in the Greater Accra Region, with origin time at 07:17:51am," the authority said in a statement.

The GSSA added that "the recorded magnitude is indicative of the extent of the tremor."
"The earth tremor is a minor one and so it is not expected to cause damage."
