President John Dramani Mahama paid a courtesy call on Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the State House in Arusha on March 2, 2026, for high-level bilateral talks aimed at strengthening the longstanding ties between Ghana and Tanzania.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss areas of mutual interest, including trade, cultural exchange, and regional cooperation within the African Union framework.

President Mahama was officially welcomed to the State House, where he held a closed-door session with President Suluhu Hassan, followed by engagement with their respective delegations.
