Piwak Natural Health emerged the biggest winners at the 2025 JoySports Invitational Tournament, sweeping four gold medals to be crowned overall champions at Ghana’s largest corporate sporting festival.
Led by Dr Prince Nelson Mortoti, Piwak made a statement on the tracks as Asamoah stormed to victory in the men’s 100m final with a blistering time of 11.45s.

The team followed up with dominant performances in the men’s and women’s Lime and Spoon races before adding the unisex Sack Race to cap a memorable day at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
The one-day carnival, which brought together 51 corporate organisations, was graced by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, who led a 5km walk and an aerobics session with hundreds of participants.
The tournament, Ghana’s biggest corporate sports day out, was sponsored by Minerals Commission, Royal Sweet Limited (Akonor Ginger Afriwara), Ayuda Hub (App Baako, services beberee), The Game Energy (Feel the Energy), Yomi Yoghurt (A Nourishing Choice), The Luckiest *712# (Luck Is Everywhere, and Promoworld.

It featured football, athletics, swimming, chess, table tennis, armwrestling and more.
While Piwak claimed the overall title, other firms left their mark.

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) showcased dominance in the pool, powered by their swimming prodigy Prince, and also retained their table tennis crown before adding the men’s Tug of Peace to their medal haul.
Apex Bank shone in chess and women’s table tennis, and were deservedly honoured with the Team Spirit Award for their unmatched energy throughout the competition.
The Luckiest 712#, making their debut, impressed with gold in the CEO penalty shootout, Scrabble, and E-Games, while GOIL PLC delivered a thrilling finale in the football tournament, edging SIC PLC 3-2 on penalties under floodlights to lift the coveted trophy.
McDan Group also had moments of glory, with Lameck Bagerbaseh winning men’s table tennis and the McKorley sisters — Naa Shika and Naa Anyema — sweeping the women’s tennis event.
Sapholda Ventures, defending champions in some disciplines, held their ground as Vincentia once again reigned supreme in the women’s 100m final with a time of 14.82s, while also retaining the women’s penalty shootout crown.
Nkulenu Industries Ltd announced their arrival in style by winning men’s armwrestling, with Yak Decor clinching the women’s category.
Heritage Christian University took gold in the men’s Lime and Spoon, while ECG Accra East Region, Adansi Travels, Labadi Beach Hotel, Youth Employment Agency, and DHL all registered silver medal finishes across various events.
But at the end of a vibrant day of competition, music, and camaraderie, it was Piwak Natural Health that stood tallest — their four gold medals setting them apart as the undisputed champions of the 2025 JoySports Invitational Tournament.
