The Office of the Special Prosecutor says it is unable to prosecute a former Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, Charles Adu-Boahene, who is said to have engaged in influence peddling, an act not codified as a corruption infraction.

This has aggrieved some sections of the public.

It is on the back of this development, that JoyNews' The Law engaged the Director-Strategy, Research and Communication, Office of the Prosecutor, Samuel Appiah Darko to explain why influence peddling can't be prosecuted by that office.
