The Police have arrested one person in connection with a shooting incident at Bereku in the Central Region which left one injured.
The suspect, Nai Akwasi Lartey, who was wielding a pump action gun, shot and injured one person during the Awubia Festival.
A press release issued by the Police Public Affairs Department said the victim (name withheld), was sent to the hospital for medical attention.
“The pump action gun with some BB cartridges has been retrieved from the suspect,” it said.
It said, “Suspect Nai Akwasi Lartey is in Police custody assisting the investigation”.
