President John Dramani Mahama has offered his best wishes to former Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, acknowledging his role in ensuring a smooth conclusion to the recent election.
Speaking during his inauguration on 7th January, President Mahama reflected on the intense campaign, stating, "It was a gruelling campaign and we gave our all." he said
He also praised Dr Bawumia for his sportsmanship in making an early concession, which helped expedite the electoral process.
"I wish you all the best in your endeavours," President Mahama concluded.
