The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a weather alert warning of an approaching rainstorm from Nigeria and Benin, expected to move westward into Ghana.
According to the Agency, the storm is likely to induce significant cloudiness, accompanied by thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensities across the country.
GMet cautioned that the rainstorm may be accompanied by moderate to strong winds, which could pose risks to property and outdoor activities.
It also warned that flooding may occur in low-lying and flood-prone areas, urging the public to take precautionary measures.
